Introduction to Music Therapy
Workshop Details
Music Therapy is the systematic and evidence-based use of music to achieve individualised therapeutic outcomes within the context of a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional (American Music Therapy Association).
It is an emerging allied health profession in Singapore.
This seminar will introduce you to the reasons why music therapy exists, who may benefit from it, how it looks/sounds like, how it is like to work with a music therapist, and the training requirements to become a music therapist.
