Play Therapy Workshop Details

Participants will get to understand more about play therapy, what we do in play therapy and the theories behind it. This experiential session aims to increase participants’ understanding of how play can help us to increase self-awareness and self-expression through a series of creative arts, movement and play activities.

*Requirement: Participants to bring along recycled items

  • White papers
  • Coloured construction papers
  • Markers
  • Scissors, scotch tapes, glues
  • Straws, ribbons, strings, pipe cleaners, pompoms
  • Toilet rolls, craft bags, plastic bottles, papers, tissue box

Please note that this is an Introductory Workshop to Play Therapy. Attending this course will not qualify you to work as a play therapist. 

Anyone who is interested to learn more about play therapy

In particular, childcare supervisors, kindergarten and primary school supervisors, teachers, assistant teachers, counsellors, social workers, professionals in healthcare & welfare organizations, parents and caregivers are welcomed to join us.

Adelyn is an accredited Play Therapist with Play Therapy International (PTI) and the founder of Pandora Box Play Therapy. Adelyn strongly believes in the power of play not just in the lives of children but also in adults too. Her personal experiential learning from her play therapy training further reinforces her belief in the benefits of play for every individual. Hence, she is passionate to help children and adults to find themselves through play. Adelyn conducts mental wellness workshops in schools, corporate and community organisation, emphasizing on stress management and personal well-being with Creative Arts and Play.

Adelyn is a former student of the ACC Institute of Human Services Specialist Diploma in Teaching and Supporting Children with Special Needs.
