Registered with the Committee for Private Education

The Committee for Private Education (CPE) was appointed by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) Board in October 2016 to carry out its functions and powers relating to private education under the Private Education Act.

ACC Institute of Human Services is currently registered under the Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF).

The Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF) sets the minimum standards that all Private Education Institutions (PEIs) must meet through the mandatory registration requirements. The ERF examines a PEI based on the following aspects:
  • Good Corporate Governance
  • Quality of Provisions
  • Information Transparency

Member of the International Association for Counselling

The International Association for Counselling is an international non-governmental association with United Nations consultative status. Since 1966, IAC has advanced the development of counselling in order to improve people’s lives and well-being.

ACC Institute of Human Services is proud to be an Education Institute Member.

Lecturers of the Counselling-related modules are practicing counsellors

The lecturers for the courses relating to Counselling are active practicing counsellors. Not only are they qualified lecturers who hold at least a Master of Counselling, they also have practical and first-hand experiences to share with the students.

Students gain practicable skills and knowledge from the course.

By delivering the course content through a series of lecturers, discussions, videos and role-play sessions, students will gain a strong foundation in counselling knowledge and skills.

Students can fulfill their counselling practicum hours and receive supervision at our Counselling Practicum Clinic.

The Counselling Practicum Clinic at the ACC Institute of Human Services offers counselling services to members of the public and students of the ACC Institute of Human Services at affordable rates. This gives students the opportunity to conduct face-to-face counselling sessions and gain practical experience.

For students of ACC, only students who are in the midst of their Advanced Diploma in Counselling Psychology can apply to be attached to the Clinic.
