Counselling Practicum Clinic
The Counselling Practicum Clinic at the ACC Institute of Human Services offers counselling services to members of the public and students of the ACC Institute of Human Services.
All counsellors are well-prepared and are completing requirements for their Counselling Psychology programmes for either the Advanced Diploma or Master’s.
Mondays to Fridays: 7.00pm onwards
Weekends: Please write in to enquire
*Please note that all sessions are by-appointment only.
Please note, as a training clinic, we are unable to provide all types of services. Some clients will be better served by being referred to ACC’s professional counselling arm; the Singapore Counselling Centre. We will advise accordingly.
As part of ACC’s endeavour to promote the development of professional counsellors, practicum students are offered opportunities to provide counselling services in a professional and supportive environment.
We provide counselling services for individuals (adults and youths) for issues such as:
- Family conflict
- School and academic problems
- Communication skills
- Parent-child problems
- Relationship problems
Students will be assigned a primary supervisor but may also receive supervision and consultation time from other supervisors. Please note that supervision fees will apply.
Counselling services provided at ACC’s Counselling Practicum Clinic are guided by:
